Caring for People with Autism

This course will help care workers to care for people with Autism. By the end of this eLearning course, learners should understand:

• What an 'Autism Spectrum Condition' is
• How autism affects people
• How to improve your communication with autistic people
• How to best support people with autism
• How to reduce the incidence of Behaviours that Challenge

This course, combined with our Supporting People with Learning Disabilities' course are designed to be fully in line with the Care Certificate Standard 16: Awareness of Learning Disability and Autism (updated March 2025)
